Where the figures come from
Every market figure we display carries a named source and an “as of” timestamp. Sources are configured by our editorial team and reviewed for licensing terms before use. Where a publisher does not print its own price date, the timestamp shown is the time we retrieved the board, and it is labelled as such.
Delayed and indicative data
Figures may be delayed, indicative, averaged across a route or region, or estimated by the publishing source. We do not operate a real-time market data service and we do not present any figure as real-time unless the source explicitly provides it as such.
When a feed fails
If a market data source is unavailable, we retain the last known good value and continue to show its original timestamp rather than silently refreshing it. Stale data is never displayed as current. Feed failures are recorded and surfaced to our editors.
