EuroHoldings has reportedly locked its two older feeder containerships into new period charter agreements. These deals are expected to generate approximately $24 million in EBITDA, which the company plans to use to bolster its financial liquidity.

The company is strategically positioning itself for an expansion into the product tanker market. The secured cash flow from the containership charters is intended to support this new venture, according to the source publication.

One of the vessels, the 1,732 TEU Joanna, has been chartered for a minimum of 30 months. The daily rate for this vessel is reported to be $24,000. The charter agreement also includes an option for an additional 20 days.

The second vessel, the 1,732 TEU EuroHope, has been fixed for a period of 24 months. This vessel's daily charter rate is stated as $20,500. These agreements provide a stable income stream for EuroHoldings.
